as you notice... i couldn't resist it and bought a new subscription again, though it's been quite a time since then. i say this, well, just to say something, what i really wanted is to change my journal. but, i'm not featuring anything and anyone this time... too lazy for that.

i've been a little bit inactive these days, and that's been due to a change of operating system i did... no more windows over here! [though i admit it: i miss it from time to time]. but, however, now i'm a proud linux [ubuntu 8.04] user, and it's really taking me time to get used to it, most of all, to all the new applications. i still don't get used to the software(s) i have to my disposition to retouch or manipulate pictures and stuff. i'm currently using gimp image editor, and haven't found other one that's better. it's just that i don't get used to it yet. i dunno. i'm still so used to irfanview and paint.net, the softwares i had when using windows, and they're not available for linux...... and well, basically that's why i haven't submitted anything yet; and the bad thing is that i really have tons of pictures to submit, really good stuff [i guess] and i'm dying to post!, but feel that i can't 'cause i still can't do what i want with the new softwares. it's more a matter of comfort, a matter of feeling comfortable at using this application. so, probably it's gonna take a little bit more of time till i feel really comfortable at using the software, and then submitting again...

but linux definitely rocks! i didn't know anything about it before using it, and even so i love it. i like it. and everyday i learn new things and... well, generally, i feel comfortable with this new operating system -except for the application for pictures...

well... that's it. i have my new journal. and hope to feature some deviations soon... stay tuned!
